Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryANN LAZARUK Peacefully our dear beloved mother, grandmother, Ann passed away at the St. Josephs Residence on Saturday, January 3, 2004, at the age of 82, after a lengthy illness. Her husband Bill predeceased her in March of 1990. Her parents, John and Katherine Chipak; Bills parents, Fred and Katherine Lazaruk. And her brother Nick. Mom was much loved, and will be greatly missed by her family. She leaves to cherish her memory in Winnipeg, son Kenneth; daughter Bev (Bernie), grandchildren, Danielle and Matthew; son Gerald (Kathy), grandchildren, Steven and Michael. Ann is also survived by a sister Pauline and her family in Winnipeg. Brother Joe (Margaret) and his family in New Westminster and Burnaby, BC. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Ann was born June 21, 1921 at home on the farm of Pete Dowhan at Komarno. She married Bill Lazaruk May 12, 1950 in a Catholic church in Winnipeg. They had three children. Pallbearers: Lawrence Sidleski, Don Medwid, Donny Moscall, Braden Moscall, Mike Maksymyk, and Don Simcoe. The family would like to extend a special thanks to doctors, staff, clergy, especially the nurses and caregivers of St. Josephs who not only took care of Anns needs, but also her familys needs as well. From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you all for your prayers, love, and compassion that were given. God bless you all. Prayers will be held on Friday, January 9 at 7:00 p.m. at the MacKenzie Funeral Home, Teulon. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 10 at 11:00 a.m. at the Holy Trinity Ukrainian Catholic Church, Komarno. Interment to follow in Komarno Cemetery. Reception to follow. MacKenzie Funeral Home Teulon in care of arrangements.
