ISOBEL EVELYN PETER It is with great sadness and sorrow that we announce the passing of our dearly beloved mother, Isobel Evelyn Peter (Flett) on January 4, 2004 at the age of 76 years. Her husband Adolf Peter predeceased Isobel in 1996. She leaves to cherish her memory her eight children, Joan (Tom), Fred (Gladys), Marjorie (Rex), Sharon (Jim), Karen (Mike), Kim (John), Donald and Jim (Simone), 18 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. We will remember Mom for her devotion to her family, her great sense of humour along with a mischievous twinkle in her eye, and her love for the simple things in life. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 7 at 1:00 p.m. at the Sobering Funeral Chapel with Pastor Harold Borchardt officiating. Viewing will be one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at St. Pauls Lutheran Cemetery, Lowland. The family wishes to thank the Beausejour home care staff, Dr. Garth Campbell, and the nurses and staff of the Beausejour Hospital for their compassionate care and support. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Beausejour Hospital or Grace Lutheran Church, Beausejour in Isobels memory.
