Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDENNIS JAMES BELL "the good looking guy" It is with deepest sadness we announce the passing of Dennis James Bell, at the age of 54, at St. Boniface General Hospital, on January 4, 2004. He was predeceased by his twin sister Donna Joy Bell; nephew Randy Bell; father John Bell and mother Edith Kathleen Bell. Dennis will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 32 years, Carrol; his son Russ and daughter-in-law Heather; grandchildren, Jeffrey and Stephanie; brother John and wife Dolores; nephews, Ron, Robert and Dennis; sister Joan and family; Aunt Doris and family; mother-in-law Evelyn Burgess; sister-in-law Diane Fortier, husband Russ and family; close friends Marty Scotten and wife Jan. Dennis will also be sadly missed by his wonderful and caring neighbours. Dennis hired on CNR as a redcap at the Winnipeg Depot in August 1967. He tried many different jobs at CN: stores in Transcona, labourer in the lumber shops and a slinger on the midway crane. He was transferred to Brakeman in 1973, promoted to Conductor in 1975, followed by engine service training to be a Locomotive Engineer in 1976. He worked as a Locomotive Engineer until his retirement in 2003. Dennis "shared many miles and many smiles" with all his co-workers at CN. Dennis enjoyed working out at the Transcona Fitness Centre, camping, riding his motorcycle and taking part in family activities. In tears we saw you sinking, We watched you fade away, You suffered much in silence, You fought so hard to stay, You faced your task with courage, Your spirit did not bend, But still you kept on fighting, Until the very end. We would like to thank the nursing staff at St. Boniface General Hospital for their care and support. Memorial service will be held on Tuesday, January 13 at 2:00 p.m. at Klassen Funeral Chapel, 1897 Henderson Hwy. Flowers are gratefully declined and donations may be made to a charity of ones choice. Love you forever, Your loving wife Carrol "Maggie Muggins". KLASSEN Funeral Chapel 1897 Henderson - North of McIvor - 338-0331
