Offer Condolences or MemoryNETTIE JOAN GARRETT (BOROSKI) (nee WASYLYK) Peacefully, on Monday, December 22, 2003, Nettie Garrett passed away at the Golden Door Geriatric Centre at the age of 87 years. Nettie was predeceased by her first husband Edmund Boroski; second husband Bill Garrett; brothers, Frank, Harry, Steve, Nick, Tony and Casey as well as her sisters, Ann and Kay. She is survived by her sons, Bob (Peggy) Boroski, Richard (Heather) Boroski and Bob Garrett. Also surviving are her brother Walter (Vi) and sister-in-law Bernice of Mississauga. She will be missed by nine grandchildren and twenty-three great-grandchildren as well as numerous nieces, nephews and many friends. Nettie was born and raised in Narol, MB on December 25, 1915. She worked for many years at Polyethylene Bag Manufacturing, family business/Union Carbide until her retirement. Nettie and Bill spent several happy winters in Florida where they gathered many new friends. One of Moms favourite pastimes was spending time with Margie at the racetrack, casino and bingo hall. Mom was easy going and always had a smile on her face and a zest for life. We all love and miss you Mom but know that you will always be close in our hearts. The family would like to thank all of the staff at the Golden Door for the wonderful care, respect and friendship given to our Mother. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will take place on Thursday, January 8 at 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St., with Rev. Marc Whitehead officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations may be made to the Alzheimers Society or to a charity of your choice. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
