FERNANDE KILPATRICK (nee CADOTTE) It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved Fern, wife, mother, grandmother and sister on January 3, 2004, at the Victoria General Hospital, after a long battle against P.S.P. Peacefully, with her husband and family by her side, Fern went home to rest. She leaves to mourn her loving husband Scottie; along with her children, Johnny, Pat (Lee), Bonnie (Ian), Heather (Paul), Gordon (Jackie), Scott (Sheila) her precious grandchildren, Aaron, Corrie, Johnathan, April, Tyler, Calvin, Scottie, Hayleigh, Arleigh, Leslie; and her siblings, Yvonne, Eugene and Johnny. Fern was born on January 6, 1931, on the Rat River Settlement in St. Pierre. Mom came to work in Winnipeg where she experienced many different careers, but the greatest career she accomplished was raising her children and grandchildren with a loving smile and a big tight hug. Mom, you will forever be missed. Thank you to all the staff at the Victoria General Hospital, Unit 5 North. We would also like to thank the staff at Vista Park Lodge for the loving care they offered our mother, and to her special friend Claudette, thank you. Our mother will always be remembered by her mastered "Queens Wave." If so desired, donations in Ferns memory may be made to the Vista Park Lodge Residents Fund, 144 Nova Vista Dr., Winnipeg, MB R2N 1P8. Mom, youll live on in our hearts forever A memorial service will be held on January 8 at 7:00 p.m. in the chapel of Voyage Funeral Home, 220 Hespeler Ave., Winnipeg, MB.
