RICHARD (DICK) SNELL JULY 21, 1927 - JANUARY 5, 2004 It is with sadness and great regret we announce the passing of a dear husband, father and grandfather at the Riverview Health Centre. He leaves to mourn his loving wife, Marie of 35 years; son Gary; granddaughters, Briana and Katrina; also his mother-in-law Helen (Leger) Johns; sister-in-law Simone (Leger) McGinley; brother-in-law Paul Leger (Jane) sister-in-law Lea Leger; also many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Gary; brothers-in-law, Bill McGinley and Peter Leger. He was a salesman all his working life, first with Robinson and Webber, he later established Snell Agencies Ltd. until he retired in 1996. He had a great love of all sports. He was born in River Heights and attended Kelvin High School and United College. Dick truly, enjoyed his granddaughters, he loved spending summers with his family and many good friends at Hockey Haven. A celebration of Dick's life will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2004 at 1:30 p.m. in the Garry Memorial Funeral Home.
