ANNIE MARGARET IONA MACKENZIE (nee HOWIE) It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother and grandmother on Tuesday, January 6, 2004 at the Carman Memorial Hospital. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Elizabeth Ann of Boissevain; her son, James Albert and his wife Francis and two granddaughters, Sherri Lee and Carla Leanne Mackenzie. Iona was predeceased by her husband, Robert John (Jack) Mackenzie, who died on June 6, 1989. She was the youngest of six children, born to James and Margaret Howie. Iona was predeceased by her four brothers, Murray, Lewis, George and Charlie and her one sister, Katie McCullough. Goodbye my family, my life has passed. I loved you all to the very last. Weep not for me, but courage take; love for each other for my sake. For those you love, dont go away. They walk beside you every day. Funeral Service will be held from Doyles Funeral Chapel in Carman on Saturday, January 10 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Harold Kenyon officiating. Interment will take place in the Greenwood Cemetery, Carman. Flowers gratefully declined.
