LISBETH "GRAMS" MCKINNON (nee CANNON) Our mother died peacefully on January 7, 2004 at St. Boniface Hospital at the age of 84. Leaving to cherish her memory is Murray, her son Barry and two daughters, Kathryn and Lorna; sons-in-law, Al and Michel and her five grandchildren, Christopher, Kari, Hayden, Taylor and Karson and special friends, Bailey and Neville. She was predeceased by her daughter Karen. Other family members include her brothers, Harry and Roy and sister Madeline. Besides raising four children, she was active in Girl Guides and in later years she was actively volunteering with St. John Ambulance, Christmas Cheer Board, and Age & Opportunity. Mom was well known for her beautiful hand knit gifts of baby sweaters, knit blankets for dogs and her famous gingerbread men. Special thanks to Moms best friend Hazel Griffin, her lunch buddies at Zellers and all her friends at Reh-Fit. Many thanks to Dr. K. Coates and his staff. Also a big thanks to the wonderful Staff at St. Boniface Hospital on 6 South. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. at 11:00 a.m. on January 10. Reception to follow.
