GLEN McMAHON 1917 - 2004 On January 6, 2004, Glen passed away peacefully at the Health Sciences Centre with family at his side. Glen will be missed by his daughter Noreen Kornyk; son Wade (Joanne) McMahon; grandchildren, Sheldon (Colleen), Blair, Shawna, Jenna; and great-grandchildren, Ryan and Kyle; sister Irene (Ceasar) Mahalek; brothers, Bill (Beatrice) McMahon and Barry (Shirley) McMahon; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife Eleanore; parents, Alex and Edith McMahon; and brothers, Ed, Ralph, Lance and Lorne. Glen was born and raised in Teulon, MB, living most of his life in Winnipeg. He served overseas with the Canadian Army-Forestry Corp, 1942 to 1946. He was employed at CNR for 31 years retiring at age 65. He had been a longtime member of Robertson United Church. He enjoyed many years of travelling and camping at Nutimik and Falcon Lake with family. Glen will be remembered for his straight forward approach to life, strong work ethic and generous donations to numerous charitable organizations. He especially enjoyed his visits with family in Teulon and watching sports on television. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 10 at 10:30 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. with Rev. Doug Martindale officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Glens memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
