HENRY ANDREW (HANK) WASHNUK It is with great sadness the family announces the sudden passing of Henry Washnuk on Tuesday, January 6, 2004 at the age of 81 years. He leaves to cherish his memory his devoted wife of 62 years, Verna (Bertha) daughter Lorraine (Don) Saramaga, their children, Cheryllynn (Dennis), Ryan (Cheri) son-in-law Dean Bleakney of Thunder Bay, his children, David (Carrie), great-grandson, Jordan, Sharon (Tyler) and his sister Susie Toffin of Hamilton, ON. Henry was predeceased by his parents, Anastasia and William Washnuk; his sister Jean Pollok and daughter Shirley Bleakney. At Henrys request, cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held. Interment in the family niche at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens. Friends wishing, may visit the family at the home of Don and Lorraine Saramaga, 74 Clearwater Rd. at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, January 9. If friends so desire, donations may be made in memory of Henry to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the CancerCare Manitoba.
