TOM BEREZUK 1949 - 2004 My friend, my love and for 30 years my husband. The father of our beautiful children Crystal and Dale and Grampa to our grandson Dylan, all of whom he loved with all of his heart. Son of his very loving mother Eleanor and his Dad Emil, who is now caring for him in Heaven. Older brother to Brian (Alanna) and David (Sandy). Tom was very much loved by his mother-in-law Marie; brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins, and godchildren. Tom will be missed by his co-workers and employees at his business that he worked at with great devotion for 35 years (Thanks to L.W. and Eddy), in addition to his numerous friends coast to coast in Canada, Hong Kong, Taipei and China. Crystal and Dylan, Dale and I (Arlene) will always remember this beautiful, intelligent and ever so kind and gentle man as being full of life, vibrance, and humour. Together in life, our family had a special, unique and loving relationship that we will always hold dear. We are proud to have had you as our dad, and a man who was not only my husband, we were best friends who loved each other. Toms mind never gave in to his illness. Though his body failed him and he was forced to leave us, his strong and beautiful spirit, his love of life, his family, the outdoors, his home, and especially his children, never will. You are always on our minds, With us all the time. Your strength will pull us through. Forever we will be thankful that we were given you. Thank you to St. Boniface Hospital 5A wonderful nursing staff, Dr. Paul Daeninck and Dr. G. Claydon who, in a very short time, became very good friends. Thank you to our family and very dear friends for your continued support and acts of kindness during this most difficult time. Service for Tom will be held on Thursday, January 15, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. in Green Acres Funeral Chapel, Hwy. #1 E. at Navin Road with Rev. Fr. Robb McDougall officiating. Private family interment will take place in Green Acres Memorial Gardens. At Toms request flowers are gratefully declined, but those wishing may make a donation in Toms name to the Canadian Cancer Society Pancreatic Research, 193 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 2B7.
