PETER EWANCHUK Peacefully on Thursday January 8, 2004 Peter Ewanchuk passed away at the Poseidon Care Centre at the age of 80 years. Born in the Municipality of Rossburn, Manitoba in the Village of Rossburn, Manitoba. Being handicapped the majority of his life, Peter attended the Local Valley School and worked on his family farm. In 1941, during the war, Peter transferred to Winnipeg and was associated with the Arlington Congregation of Jehovahs Witnesses and was baptized in 1953. As one of Jehovahs Witnesses he had a lifelong faith in his God, Jehovah. His belief was in the Resurrection Hope, John 11:25, where Jesus said I am the resurrection and the life. He that exercises faith in me, even though he dies, will come to life. Peters strong belief was to live upon the paradise earth. Peter leaves to mourn his life, several nieces and cousins. A memorial service for Peter Ewanchuk will be held at Garry Memorial Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Boulevard, on Monday January 12 at 7:00 p.m. with Walter Didur Officiating.
