EDITH BEATRICE HUNNISETT It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Edith Hunnisett at the age of 91 years at Concordia Hospital on Friday, January 9, 2004, after a short illness. For most of her life Edith was a resident of St. James, and worked for that Municipality and the City of Winnipeg until her retirement in 1977. She also spent many joyful summers at the family cottage in Malachi, ON. She was a lifelong member of St. James United Church. Edith was predeceased by her brother Frank Hunnisett; and sister Helen Padula. She will be sadly missed by her nephews, Gary Hunnisett of Chili, South America, Joe Padula of Mississippi, U.S.A. and Gail Holtved (Carl) of Oakville, ON; her great-nephews and nieces, Derek, Christopher, Kirsten, Jason and Danielle; cousins Alex (Babe), Beatrice, Eleanor and their extended families; and the many friends whose lives she touched. A celebration of Ediths life will be held on Tuesday, January 13 at 11:00 a.m. at St. James United Church, 234 Parkview St. Flowers gratefully declined.
