Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDOROTHY MAY KRETON (nee SOLOSHY) After a lengthy illness at Deer Lodge Centre in Winnipeg, Dorothy returned to spirit on January 2, 2004 at the age of 84. Born October 17, 1919, she has now rejoined her parents, Hilma and John; sister Jean; brothers, Percy, Harvey and Gordon. Left with our cherished memories are her husband of 60 years, Paul; daughter Debbie Hadley (Tom Frechette) of Okotoks, AB; sons, Ken and Fern (Karen) and grandson Julian, all of Winnipeg; sisters, Mary, Margaret (Herman), Lillian, brothers, Edsel, John (Pearl), Glen, George, many nieces and nephews and extended family members. Graduating from Whitewood High School, then business school in Winnipeg, Mom worked steadfastly throughout her life, in varied occupations, but largely acting as the backbone for various family businesses. An accomplished seamstress, gardener, cook and DIYer, she always focused on her family and relatives, and on tending to others before herself. Persevering, ever-active and generous, she was a living example of strength and courage in adversity. May her fighting spirit take her to new heights.
