RT. REV. CANON JOHN LEHKY Rt. Rev. Canon John Lehky of Rossburn, MB, passed away on Sunday, January 4, 2004, at the Rossburn District Health Centre at the age of 90 years. Rev. Lehky is survived by his nephew Alex (Jean) Lehky of Grandview; niece Louise (Joseph) Elkiw of Toronto; as well as many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews in Canada and Ukraine. The funeral Divine Liturgy will be celebrated by Bishop David Motiuk, assisted by other clergy, on Tuesday, January 13 at 10:00 a.m. from the Sacred Heart of Jesus Ukrainian Catholic Church, Rossburn. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery. Prayers will be sung Monday, January 12 at 7:00 p.m. from the Sacred Heart of Jesus Ukrainian Catholic Church, Rossburn, with Rt. Rev. Msgr. Michael Buyachok-Dean officiating, assisted by other other clergy. If friends so desire, donations may be made to the Sacred Heart of Jesus Ukrainian Catholic Church, Rossburn, or a charity of their choice.
