GARY EDWARD OLENDER Gary Olender passed away suddenly on January 4, 2004, at the Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg, MB, at the age of 65 years. Gary was born on July 11, 1938 in Gypsumville, MB. Gary is survived by his two sons, Gerry and Graham; his brothers, Harvey (Marlene), Brian, Wayne (Margaret) and Douglas (Janice) his sisters, Marilyn (Terry) Smith and Kathy (Dave) Rawluk; along with nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Peter and Edith Olender and an infant brother Bruce. Gary took one year of university before he attended Teachers College in Winnipeg where he was President of the Student Council in 1958. After he graduated from Teachers College he taught school in Cranberry Portage and in Gimli where he was vice-principal before his illness. His life long interests were hunting and fishing. A memorial service and interment will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of ones choice. Arrangements by: Arnason Funeral Homes, Ltd.
