JACOB WARKENTIN Early in the morning of January 9, 2004, Dad, formerly of Pigeon Lake, MB, passed away peacefully at his home in West Park Manor. Jacob is survived by his wife Elizabeth; two daughters, Eleanore Bergen, Marlene (Jerry) Buffie; four sons, Robert (Agatha), Al (Ruth), Vern (Margaret) John (Jackie) one daughter-in-law Linda; 17 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; Elizabeths family and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Tina; one son Peter; one son-in-law Harry Bergen. Viewing with devotional will be Tuesday, January 13, 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Klassen Funeral Chapel, 1897 Henderson Hwy. Funeral service will be Wednesday, January 14 at 2:00 p.m. at Schoenfelder Mennonite Church, Pigeon Lake, No. 2256, Hwy. 26. Many thanks to the dedicated staff at West Park Manor who provided loving care to our father and family during his stay; also to the many friends and relatives for their faithful visits and acts of kindness. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mennonite Central Committee, 134 Plaza Dr., R3T 5K9, Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 200 - 6 Donald St., R3L 0K6, or a charity of ones choice.
