Offer Condolences or Memory(GERRY) GLORIA GERALDINE YOUMANS (nee MILAN) It is with great sadness that we have to announce the sudden passing to Heaven of our Wife, Mom and Grandma, Gerry Youmans on Tuesday, January 6, 2004 while on holidays in South Padre Island, Texas. Gerry (Mom) leaves to mourn her husband of 50 years Wray Youmans; her children, Wray Youmans Jr.; Grace (Gary) Lewald; Rick (Sandra) Youmans; Cindy (Darryl) Gledhill. Grandma also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren, Brendon, Tannis, Holly, Codi, Dustin, Jamie, Ty and Trey. Also mourning her loss is her only surviving sibling Grace (Joe) Howie and other family members and friends. Gerry (Mom) is predeceased by her two infant children, Cherylann and Larry; and her grandson Kyle Lewald; by her Dad, Mom (Gram) sisters, Dorothy and Doreen; and brother Bill. Gerry was born in Winnipeg, January 8, 1933. She and Wray were married on June 11, 1954 and raised their four children in Winnipeg and summers out at Lundar Beach. Gerry had a very fulfilling career as a Salesperson at various furniture stores, most recently at De Fehr Furniture. Mom had lots of hobbies, her favourites of which were reading, sewing and stain glass work. Gerry and Wray have lived the last nine years out at Lundar Beach thoroughly enjoying their retirement. As we say good bye for now, we thank you Mom, for the example that is true and good in life. You have shown us how to live our lives to the fullest, enjoy all that life has to offer without judgement, trust in Gods way and love each other. "Until we meet again Mom, We love you forever." There will be a Memorial Service in Gerrys (Moms) honour at Silver Heights United Church, 199 Garrioch St. (just off Ness and Mount Royal) on Tuesday, January 20, 1:00 p.m. Rev. Don Johnson officiating. Flowers gratefully declined, however if you so choose, donations may be made to the Heart and Stoke Foundation in Moms honour. \r
