Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryRAYMOND CARINS ANDERSON It is with great sadness and regret we announce the passing of our dear husband, father and grandfather, Raymond, on Thursday, January 8, 2004 at the age of 61 years. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife Shirley of 38 years of marriage; daughters, Sherral-Ann (Jim) and Nancy-Ann (Salvatore). His greatest joy was his granddaughters Hilary, Alexanndria, Nicole and Abigalye. He also leaves to mourn his brother Tom (Carol) of Calgary as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Raymond was predeceased by his parents John Delmar and Edith Alexandra Anderson. Ray was born and raised in Winnipeg. He attended Greenway and Daniel McIntyre Schools. Ray retired from Wawanesa Insurance with over 25 years of service. He had many interests and hobbies which included curling. Dad really enjoyed his curling teams and the many trips to the United States to play in bonspiels with his buddies. He also loved his time at the lake with his granddaughters. They also had many memorable times at the parks together. Ray was a member of Army, Navy and Air Force Veterans in Canada #283. He was also a long time member of the Blue Goose. Public visitation will take place on Monday, January 12 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Memories in Wojciks All Beliefs and Faiths Funeral Chapel, 2157 Portage Ave. at Sharp Blvd. Rays funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 13 at 1:00 p.m. in the St. James Anglican Church, 195 Collegiate St. If friends desire, donations may be made in Rays memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 301-352 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB.
