SUSAN DEANNE WIEBE (BRUCKI) Peacefully at home, on Friday, January 9, 2004, Susan left us to fly with the heavenly angels. She leaves to mourn her passing her loving husband Gregory; her mother Jean; and two sisters, Brenda (Ken) Urbanowich and Linda (Gerry) Lemoine; and nephew Matthew and niece Danielle Lemoine; grandmother Rosella Olmstead; special aunt Olga; mother-in-law Linda and Henry Giesbrecht; father-in-law John Wiebe; brother-in-law Russell; nephew Dwight; and sister-in-law Carolyn. Susan was predeceased by her father John Brucki in December 2000; her grandfather Ray Olmstead and grandparents Tatiana and Nicolas Brucki. Susan leaves behind many family and friends who cared about her very much. Friendship meant a lot to Susan, and she was fortunate to share the gift of friendship with Tanya, Koreen, Deanna, Shannon, Carla, Melanie, Kristine, Claire and Sean as well as many other close friendships. Susan met the man of her dreams, Greg, in November of 2000. Greg has been the rock that Susan needed when she was faced with terminal cancer. Greg stood by her, supported her, and lovingly cared for her during her illness. Susan and Greg confessed their love for each other and were married on April 5, 2003, at The Little White Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas. They were surrounded by friends and family who were grateful to share this special time with the both of them. Susan was born on May 10, 1970, and was raised in Transcona. She attended Westview, John W. Gunn and graduated from Transcona Collegiate in 1988. Susan was very ambitious and completed her certificate in Human Resource Management in 1994 and her certificate in Management Development in 2002. Susan was currently employed at Winpak as a Human Resources Coordinator. She also worked at Mesh Technologies, The Salvation Army and Wardrop Engineering in various positions. Susan enjoyed camping, traveling, and time spent with family and friends. Susan faced the last nine months with great strength and courage. We were all very thankful to have spent this last Christmas with her. You have been freed from your pain and suffering. We all love you and will miss you terribly. As expression of sympathy, charitable donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba. A memorial celebration of Susans life will take place on Tuesday, January 13 at 1:30 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St., (204) 586-8044.
