Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGLENN STEWART ALLAN Glenn Steward Allan passed away in the loving care of the staff at St. Michaels Health Centre on Friday, January 9, 2004 at the age of 88 years. He is survived by his son, Lee (Fiona) Allan of Lethbridge and his daughter, Frances (Sue) Allan of Ottawa, brothers and sisters, Clyde (Helen), Jean (Stu) Styan, Hugh (Nora), Eleanor MacRae, all of Winnipeg and Claire (Terry) Shore of Minneapolis, seven grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents and brothers Irving, Gary and Lorne. Glenn was born in Delisle, SK and lived in Winnipeg before moving to Great Britain at the age of 18 to play international hockey and baseball. He returned to Canada in 1950 and spent most of his career as a graphic artist in Ottawa. During this time he became well known as an excellent curler. He moved to Lethbridge in 1999 where he enjoyed new friendships and his membership in the Nord-bridge Seniors Centre. At Glenns request there will be no services held. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Tributes may be made to St. Michaels Health Centre, Palliative Care Unit, 1400 - 9th Avenue South, Lethbridge, Alberta T1J 4V5.
