Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDIANE MARIE BALL (nee VANDALE) Suddenly and unexpectedly Diane Marie Ball (nee Vandale) was taken from us on January 11, 2004. Diane was born April 11, 1942 in Winnipeg and grew up there before moving to Thompson and then to Thunder Bay in 1974. Diane was predeceased by her father (Leo) in 1983 and her granddaughter Danielle Ball in 1996. She is survived by her husband of 38 years Larry Ball; and sons, David (Anita) and Jeffrey (Bobbi-Jo) grandchildren Maranda, Terry and Dale. She is also survived by her mother (Margaret) brothers, Dennis (Carol), Bryan (Manette), Glynn (Jan), and Alden (Lynn) many brothers and sisters-in-law in the Ball family and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Thursday evening, January 15 at from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. for family and from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. for friends at Harbour View Funeral Centre, 499 Cumberland St. North. A celebration of Dianes life will be held on Friday, January 16 at 1:00 p.m. at Harbour View Funeral Centre followed by interment at Lappe Cemetery. Friends are invited to join the family at Lappe Lutheran Church at the corner of Dog Lake Road and Kam-Current Road for refreshments following the interment. In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made in Dianes memory to the Lappe Lutheran Church Youth Group.
