CLIFFORD (KIPP) KELLY Our family is greatly saddened to announce the sudden passing of our beloved son, brother, father and uncle Clifford (KIPP) Kelly on Monday, January 12, 2004. He leaves to mourn his passing his Mother RETA KELLY; daughters, Daina Kelly and Paige Trach. His sisters, Pat Unrau (Ben), Lynne St. Laurent (Ed), Maryanne Robblee (Merve), Karen Bayes (Drew). His brothers, Jack Kelly (Linda) and Donny; as well as many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews. Also to mourn his passing is his second family The Hagens of Minneapolis, MN as well as his many friends. Kipp was born in Winnipeg on August 14, 1949. Raised in St. Vital, he attended Glenwood School and Glenlawn Collegiate. Kipp was very active at the Glenlawn Community Club and was awarded their Volunteer award for his community service. He was assistant equipment manager for the St. Vital Victoria Hockey Club. His love of Drag racing often led him to visit Brainard for the racing meets. At the time of his passing he had been employed at Manitoba Hydro for the past 17 years and was a member in good standing of CUPE 500. He was also a past member of the Royal Canadian Legion Norwood Branch #43. Kipp loved life and will be remembered by his family and friends for his humour and willingness to help where he could. A viewing will take place at 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Friday, January 16 at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. (South of the Royal Canadian Mint). A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 17 at Glen Lawn Funeral Home with a gathering of family and friends to follow in the reception centre. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, the MS Society or the Make A Wish Foundation.
