STANLEY MRYGLAD On January 13, 2004, Stanley Mryglad, beloved husband of Victoria, passed away at the age of 66 years. Stanley was predeceased by his daughter Andrea and his parents, John and Helen. He will also be lovingly missed by his daughters, Lisa (Jason) Lausch and Melanie (Scott) Hutton and his granddaughter Paige; sisters, Frances (Bill) Boykowich and Kathy from BC; he will also be missed by many relatives, friends and extended family. Stanley was born at St. Boniface Hospital on August 12, 1937, and spent his childhood years in Sky Lake, MB. Stanley retired in May 1998, after working as a butcher for 31 years. Stanley loved fishing, camping, country music and playing his violin. He also enjoyed trips into the country, visiting with family and friends. Stanley was a member of Ukrainian Orthodox Cathedral of St. Ivan Suchavsky. The family wishes to thank the staff of St. Boniface Hospital, Drs. Ralph Wong and Charles Olweny for their care and compassion. Prayers will be said on Thursday, January 15, at 6:00 p.m. in the chapel of Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main St. Funeral service will take place on Friday, January 16, at 10:00 a.m., also in the chapel, with Rev. Fr. John Melnyk officiating. Interment in Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. If friends so desire, donations may be made in Stanleys memory to CancerCare Manitoba, 675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9.
