PAULINE "POLLY" SHWALUKE After a courageous battle, Pauline passed away peacefully on January 12, 2004 at Grace Hospital. Left to mourn is her daughter Patricia (Larrie) Chuchmach; grandson Loring (Tina) great-grandson Cole and granddaughter Nicole Marie; sister Minnie Derkach; brothers, William (Lena) Kalyniak and Michael (Mary) Kalyniak of Russell, MB; brother-in-law Matthew Shwaluke of Brandon; sister-in-law Ann Antonation of Shoal Lake. She was predeceased by her husband Nicholas in February 13, 2003. The family would like to thank the staff of 3 West at the Grace Hospital for all their care and compassion as well as Major Gordon Jarvis and Illa Barber. Thanks to all the friends and co-workers who gave us support during a very difficult time. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 15 from 6:45 p.m. to 7:15 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St., with prayers beginning at 7:30 p.m. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, January 16 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Basil the Great Ukrainian Catholic Church, 202 Harcourt Ave. Interment will follow at Assumption Roman Catholic Cemetery.
