VERNA SINCLAIR (ODDSON) January 26 1926 - January 13 2004 Peacefully in the presence of her loving family our beloved mother and grandmother passed away. Verna was born in Lundar, MB to Oddur and Sigrun Oddson. She moved to Winnipeg and married Jim in 1947. They raised their family of seven children in the same home in St Vital in which she lived for 50 years. Left to cherish her memory her children, Robert Sinclair (Arleen), Heather Howorth (Barry), Iris Hill (Peter), Marilyn Sinclair (Mike), Lynn Bergeron (Gilles), Valerie Proulx (Denis) grandchildren, Jamie, Katie, Andy; Laraine, Jeff; Allison, Patrick; Jesse, Chris; Lindsey, Ryan and remaining sister Mattie Sigfusson. Predeceased by her husband Jim in 1982; her youngest daughter Kathy in 1997; her parents; her sister Christine and her brother Allan. The family wishes to thank the nursing staff at the Health Sciences Centre, second floor (GD) for their kindness and compassion during our mothers illness. A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 17, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. at Neil Bardal Inc., 984 Portage Ave. (entrance on Aubrey Street).
