MRS. WINIFRED DRAKE (nee ROEBUCK) Winifred Drake of Anola, MB, beloved wife of the late Norman Drake, passed away peacefully at the age of 94 years on Wednesday, January 14, 2004 at the Eastgate Personal Care Home in Beausejour. She will be lovingly remembered by her son Herb (Violet) of Anola; her grandson Cameron (Patti) of Winnipeg; three great-grandsons, Jason, Christopher and Ryan all of Winnipeg; her brother Norman (Edith) of Yorkton, SK; two sisters-in-law, Margaret and Vi and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers, Reg of Langley, BC and Fred of Yorkton. Her birthplace was Huddersfield, Yorkshire, England and her family immigrated to Canada in the early 1900s taking up residence in the Waldron, SK area. She spent years catering to the Winnipeg Canoe Club as far back as 1954. In later years her needlework drew many ribbons in the agricultural fair at Dugald, MB. Cremation is by Sobering Funeral Home. There will be a family burial at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. \r
