PETER HIEBERT It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Peter Hiebert on January 20, 2004, at the Lundar Personal Care Home where he resided the for the past five years. There will be an emptiness in the hearts of many. His wife Helen preceded him October 12, 2002, but he is survived by their 11 children, Chris Graham, Helen Sabados, Mary Sabados, Annie Hiebert, Aaron Hiebert, William Hiebert, Alvin Hiebert, Grace Denhard, Norma Jadeske, Walter Hiebert and Tom Hiebert; 31 grandchildren, 53 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren. Peter was born on August 21, 1901 at Herbert, SK. He married Helen on August 12, 1923, at Schoenfeld, MB. They had celebrated their 79th wedding anniversary on August 12, 2002. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service celebrating Peters life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 29 in the Lundar Legion Hall with Pastor Bill Watson officiating. Service will conclude at the hall with a private family interment to be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the charity of ones choice. A special thanks and gratitude to the wonderful staff at the Lundar Personal Care Home. They have made the last years of Peters life a pleasant experience and made his passing on so peaceful.
