GEORGETTE (GINGER) KIRTON In the presence of loving family and friends, our beloved mother, grandmother, fiance, sister, aunt and great-aunt passed away on January 14, 2004 at age 52. Left to cherish her memory is her son Shaun, grandson Chandler and his mother Michelle; fiance Bryan McCann; sister Pat Chapdelaine; nieces and nephew, Lorraine (Barry), Adele, Tony (Alice), Celia (Russell), Michelle and Mandy; and 14 great-nieces and nephews. Ginger was a kind and loving person with a soft spot for children and animals. Her caring and nurturing was felt by all who knew her. Her family was very proud of her most recent accomplishments and how she was able to overcome many hardships to find peace and happiness in her life. She enjoyed many summers fishing with Bryan where she experienced the freedom of nature while cruising across to Gingers Bay. The family wishes to thank the staff of the MIC unit, St. Boniface Hospital for their care and kindness. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on Monday, January 19 at 12:30 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. A reception will follow. Flowers are gratefully declined.
