WILLIAM BUDD 1919 - 2004 Bill (Billy), only son of the late Irene and Sam Budd of Sturgeon Creek, died on January 16, 2004 at the Riverview Health Centre after a lengthy illness. He was predeceased by his beloved children, Jane and Patrick in 1996. Surviving are his wife Zoe; son Keith (Kim) daughter Lorraine; grandchildren, Laura (Les), Adam, Matt, Meghan, Patrick, Joselene (Keith), James and Robert; and great-granddaughter Sydney. His nieces, nephews and their families were a great support to Bill during the last few years as well as several other very special people. They will miss him. Bill was a well known golfer, curler and a friend of many. He enjoyed fishing, boating and the hobby of beekeeping with some of his buddies. He spent many happy holidays with friends in Florida and at the Victoria Beach cottage. The family wishes to express their gratitude to Dr. Angus McGowan for his long-time care and friendship and to the nurses and staff on CD1 at Riverview Health Centre, whose kindness and humour brightened Bills days. A special thank you to his friend David OBrien. Cremation has taken place. Interment and a memorial service will be held at a date to be announced later this spring. Flowers are gratefully declined.
