LANA SARAH HUDYMA (nee McNABB) Suddenly while vacationing in Dominican Republic, Lana Sarah passed away at the age of 56 with her husband by her side. Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband John; her beloved children, Dean (Colette, Lanette), and Tracy; her special grandchildren, Steven, Samantha; her parents, Bert and Doris McNabb; sisters, Alice, Barb, Mary, Leora, and Karen; brothers, Gary and Cameron. Also left to honour and cherish her memory are numerous aunts, uncles, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, cousins and family friends. Lana was predeceased by her brother, Dalton. Lana was born in Layland, MB and spent her early childhood in and around that area. She attended school in Layland. She lived in Edmonton, AB for a short time and numerous areas of Winnipeg where she met and married the love of her life, John. Earlier in her life, Lana worked for Western Glove, a sewing factory and Paulin and Chambers. After she was married, Lana worked for a company "Belmont Sign" that they started together many years ago along side of her husband John. Lana lived life, she lived for the moment, she was a fun person to be around and made her family and friends laugh. When you were with her, you were always guaranteed to have a good time. Lana enjoyed her life and filled it with the things that she loved to do, weekly trips to the casino, vacationing with her family, reading, camping and going to the cabin with John and her children and grandchildren. She was affectionately known as "Mama" by Steven and Samantha, and "Missy Lana" by John. Lana will be sadly missed but never forgotten, she was the most wonderful Mom and Mama a family could ask for. She will always live on in the hearts and minds of her loving family and friends. We love you "Mama" and we miss you and we care about you. Cremation has taken place. To celebrate Lanas life a memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 21 at the Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St., Rev. Peter Cain presiding. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
