Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJOSEPH EDWARD TYMKO Peacefully on January 16, 2004, with family at his side, Joseph Edward Tymko was taken by the Lord. Joe was born in Allegra, MB on March 15, 1915. He was predeceased by his wife, Mary on April 29, 2001, as well as daughter Betty, sisters, Anne, Ella, Jean; and brothers, John and Harry. In spite of his many accidents in life, his sheer determination and creativity was visible in his work both as a farmer and a woodworker. After leaving the farm in the early 1960s, Joe was employed by the Aggasiz School Division as a bus driver, mechanic and maintenance man. Upon retiring, Joe and Mary took on the ice making duties at the Beausejour-Brokenhead Memorial Arena. He leaves to cherish his memory, his son Al (Marg) of Beausejour, daughter Dianne (Adrian) of Arizona, son Bernie (Bev) of Edmonton and daughter Barb (Bill) of Winnipeg. He also leaves to mourn, his grandchildren, Gail, Cathy, Carla (Rob), Tim (Nancy), Chris (Erin), Jackie, Brenna (Danny), Brett, Breejay, Sean (Julie), and Heather and five great-grandchildren. Joe would have liked us to express his appreciation to the doctors and staff at the Beausejour Regional Hospital, the staff at South Haven, the staff of the Rose unit at East Gate Lodge, and the staff at the adult day program at East Gate Lodge. Prayers will be said on Tuesday, January 20 at 7:00 p.m. at Sobering Funeral Chapel in Beausejour. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 21 at 10:30 a.m. at Sobering Funeral Chapel as well. Flowers are gratefully declined.
