GEORGE CHIN Suddenly on January 16, 2004 at Victoria General Hospital, George Chin passed away at the age of 79. George was predeceased by his wife Cenia and brother John. Dad leaves to cherish his memory four sons and one daughter, Alvin (Georgina), Sue-Jay (Fred) of Calgary, Butch (Miranda), Calvin and Dean; grandsons, Wayne, Jason, Derek, Alan, Craig, Brett, Christopher, and Corey; granddaughters, Lisa, Kelly, Bernice, Corinna, and Charlene; great-grandson Lucas; great-granddaughter Kailin; brothers, Quen, Bill and Sam; sisters, Betty and Evelyn; numerous nieces and nephews along with many friends. Dad was a loving father. He was a handyman with carpenter skills. He enjoyed helping others. He loved spending time with family. Viewing will be held Monday, January 19 between 7:00 and 8:00 p.m. in the chapel of Voyage Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, January 20 at 1:00 p.m. with viewing one-half hour prior to service also in the chapel of Voyage Funeral Home, 220 Hespeler Ave., officiating Pastor Lee. Flowers gratefully declined. In lieu of flowers, donations in Georges memory may be made to Chinese United Church, 281 Pacific Ave., or to Canadian Diabetes Association, 102-310 Broadway.
