JOANNY BERNICE DENBY (nee KASPRICK) On January 15, 2004 at 11:10 p.m. at Concordia Hospital, Joan Denby, a beloved wife, soulmate, mother, grandma, sister, auntie and friend passed away at the age of 55. Joans spirit never faded during her long and hard journey with cancer. Her continued optimism and determination to live life to the fullest accepting the disease encouraged those around her. Joan was born at Mountain Road, MB on July 10, 1948. She had many passions; tending to her garden, caring for her husband, visiting with her children, and most of all enjoying time with the grandchildren. They always put a sparkle in her eye, a smile on her face, and a glow in her heart. She leaves to cherish her beautiful memory, her husband Dallas; her children, Cara (Paul), Tammi (Grant), Travis (Brigitte), and James; her grandchildren Brendan, Cole, Julia, Ella, Phoebe, and Payton; extended family and friends. The family would like to thank the staff of the West Wing Palliative Care Unit, 3rd Floor of Concordia Hospital for all of their care and compassion. They were very supportive during a very difficult time. The family would also like to express their gratitude to everyone who helped in everyway at CancerCare Manitoba. Rachel and Debbie at CancerCare always went above and beyond in caring and compassion for Joan. You have all touched our hearts and will never be forgotten. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, January 23 at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. (south of the Royal Canadian Mint) Flowers are gratefully declined as an expression of sympathy. If friends and family so desire, donations in Joans memory may be made to CancerCare Manitoba. Joans love was never-ending and her heart was always open. She will always be Dallas Joanny, his perfect doll. Arrangements entrusted to: GLEN LAWN FUNERAL HOME 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. 982-7550
