AURORE (BIB) CADORATH (nee FONTAINE) It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Aurore Cadorath at Foyer Valade at the age of 98 years. Aurore was predeceased by her husband John Oleary in 1967, her daughter Jeanine Jette in 1990 and daughter-in-law Blanch in 1995. She is survived by her two sons, Gerry and Mel (Jeannine), son-in-law Hubert, 12 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren. Aurore is the last survivor of a family of 16 siblings. She was born in St. Pierre, MB on August 5, 1905. While working as a switchboard operator she met and later married Oleary in St. Pierre on December 10, 1924, they moved to Somerset, MB and then to Winnipeg. After dads passing she was employed as the receptionist for Misericordia Hospital Nurses Residence. Aurore enjoyed being with her family. She also enjoyed reading and excelled in needle work, cross stitch, crochet and knitting. A memorial service celebrating Aurores life will be held on Friday, January 23 at 11:00 a.m. in the Edward J. Coutu Funeral Chapel, 680 Archibald St. Interment will be held at a later date. The family extends their thanks to her friends and especially her nieces for their support and kindness and also to the staff at Foyer Valade. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Aurores memory to the Foyer Valade Building Fund, 450 River Rd., Winnipeg, MB R2M 5M4. The Coutu family in care of arrangements: EDWARD J.
