MARINA CAROLINE McDOUGALL (nee GULLDEN) September 28, 1935- January 19, 2004 With our deepest love and saddened hearts, we her husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchild announce the passing of a very much loved and extraordinary caring woman. Marina passed away January 19, 2004 peacefully surrounded by her beloved family after a very courageous struggle due to complications from surgery. Mom will be lovingly remembered and so dearly missed by her husband Allan of 46 years; her children, Dale, Dawn (Richard), Heather, Myrna (Scotty), Theresa and Shelly; grandchildren, Stephanie (Jason), Scott, Matthew, Michael, Amanda, Katelyn, Ashley, Alexis; and great-granddaughter Katarina; sisters, Rita and Verna; brother Ronnie (Emily) brothers-in-law, Jimmy and Wayne (Deborah) sisters-in-law, Lillian and Doreen; along with several nieces and nephews. Mom was predeceased by her parents, Runo and Hildur; grandson Richard Allan; sisters, Gladys, Irene, Shirley and Bernice; brother Raymond; brothers-in-law, Delbert, Raymond, Jack, Bob, Don and Neil; sister-in-law Marion; father-in-law William; mother-in-law Mary; niece Debbie; nephews, Cameron and Jason; her many beloved pets over the years, Buffy, Sylvia, Benji, Clever and Bandit. In Moms younger years she was employed at Eatons Mail Order taking a break to be a stay at home wife and mother. In later years, she returned to the workforce being employed at Manitoba Vegetable Commission and then Tanjay International. Mom retired in the late 70s when Dad became self employed. Her greatest joy was being with her family and spending countless hours in the kitchen entertaining her daughters and her grandchildren with her wittiness and great sense of humour. When we were younger, she thoroughly enjoyed our many family camping trips and later Grammas special picnics with her grandchildren. Our deepest gratitude is extended to Dr. Stewart Rosser and his team at MICU Health Sciences Centre for your dedication to help heal our Mom. In accordance to Moms wishes cremation has taken place. There will be no service. Flowers are gratefully declined. Mom you fought so hard to stay with us. We will forever love you and treasure our memories we were so lucky to have with you.
