RUTH (THELMA) MAGUIRE August 11, 1933 - January 19, 2004 Peacefully, on Monday, January 19, 2004 at Middlechurch Home, Thelma Maguire passed away at the age of 70 years. Thelma was predeceased by her husband Bob in January of 2003; brothers, George and Wilfred Dearman and sister Lynn Goertzen. Thelma will be lovingly remembered by her brother Robert (Rosemary) Dearman; sister Genevieve Price; brother-in-law Brian Maguire; sister-in-law Anne Dearman and many nieces, nephews and friends. Thelma was born on August 11, 1933, and grew up on the family farm. After moving to West Kildonan in her late teens, she worked at the Christie Biscuit Factory for a few years before meeting her husband Robert. They married in 1957 and in their later years, enjoyed their cottage life at Nutimik Lake. She enjoyed many hobbies, especially ceramics and paper-tole. She loved spending time and looking after her nephews and nieces. Special thank you to the staff of Middlechurch Home for their care and compassion over the past two years. Memorial service will be held on Friday, January 23 at 1:30 p.m. at St. Theresas Roman Catholic Church, 3597 Main St. with Msgr. Louis McCloskey officiating.
