YVONNE "FREDA" MATTHEWS After a lengthy illness, it is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loving sister and dear friend on January 20, 2004. She leaves to mourn her passing three sisters and a brother, Carmelle Bruneau (Lou Debonnet), Diane Lebel, Laurence Desautels (Martha), Evette (Don) Badard; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Louis and Regina Desautels; and her husband Alexander; Armande Daneault, as well as Denise Hutcheson, Jerry McKenzie and Emile Desautels. Freda loved working outdoors and adored her pets. She had a very warm heart and was always there to offer a helping hand. The family extends special thanks to the staff on 4DE at the Tache Centre for looking after her and to Marcelle Chicoine and Denise Wood who were always spending time with her and tending to her needs. You will be sadly missed by all who loved you. Cremation has taken place and there will be no formal service held. Rest in peace Freda.
