THOMASINA RUTH SMITH (nee SCOTT) It is with deep sadness that we, Perry and Ronnalee Smith announce the passing of our mother, grandmother on Monday, January 12, 2004 in Penticton, BC after a short but courageous battle with cancer. She was born on August 8, 1936 the fourth daughter of Thomas and Carrie Scott. Tommie was predeceased by her father, mother and by her sister Donna. Tommie is survived by her two children, son Perry (Francine) daughter Ronnalee; her grandchildren Avery and Raith. Also by her special and dear friend Jock Read of Penticton. Her sisters Verdeen (Harold) Neufeld, Joyce Limerick, Margaret (Louis) Kulchycki, Pat Shalley, brother Robert and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews and many dear friends in Winnipeg, Gimli and Penticton. In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service to celebrate Tommies life will take place at a later date in Penticton, BC. Mom we will miss and love you forever
