Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWALTER JOSEPH ZULKOSKI 1930 - 2004 Peacefully on January 22, 2004, Walter Zulkoski passed away at Seven Oaks Hospital. Walter was the youngest of three children born to Molly (Doskocz) and Joseph Zulkoski, both deceased. He was also predeceased by his brother and sister-in-law Bert Randall (Marie) and grandson Brandon. In 1952 he married Celia (Faykes) and was blessed with five children: Val (Greg) Pidhirniak, Joyce (Lyle) Tingey, Tim (Lorna), Randy (Marj) and Karen (Detlef) Ams; grandchildren: Jamie, Kevin, Andrea, Daniel, Andrew Peter, Katie, Caroline, Christina and Jennifer; great-grandson Andrew; sister Ann Breitkreitz (Harvey) and many nieces, nephews and friends. Walter worked at Libby MacNeil for 26 years. He was the Business Manager at St. Marys Cathedral until his retirement in 1993. Walter served as Financial Chairperson for St. John Cantius Church, where he was a long-standing parishioner. He was also a long-time member of Holy Ghost Fraternal Aid Society and served for a number of years as Financial Secretary. His hobbies included reading, playing cards and going for rides to the farm and U.S. Wally had a keen eye for working with numbers, was an avid sports fan and enjoyed following politics. The family would like to extend sincere gratitude to Dr. Hechtenthal, Dr. Lezack and the staff of Seven Oaks Hospital for all their care and compassion. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, January 26 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Theresas Roman Catholic Church, 3597 Main St. with Msgr. Stan Jaworski officiating. Viewing prior to service. Interment will follow in Assumption Cemetery. If friends so desire, a donation may be made in Wallys memory toward a charity of ones choice. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
