Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryANASTASIA ANISIMOWICZ Peacefully, on Thursday, January 22, 2004, Anastasia Anisimowicz passed away at the Seven Oaks Hospital at the age of 77 years. Anastasia is survived by her husband Nick; daughter Marta (Bob) Harris; son Roman (Sadie) of Calgary; four grandchildren, Michael (Vanessa), Kathryn Anisimowicz, William and Nadine Harris. She also leaves to mourn her brother Paul (Milka) and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers, Wasyl, Mike and Peter Zoryk. Anastasia was born in the village of Muzyliw, district of Ternopil, Ukraine on November 12, 1926. She married Nick in 1947, husband of 57 years. They immigrated to Winnipeg with their son Roman in 1952. Mom devoted her life to her family. She enjoyed gardening, reading, sewing and cooking. Mom never forgot about her distant family in Ukraine and assisted them as best she could. Her only regret in life was not seeing her parents alive after she was taken away from them at the age of 15. Mom was a loving wife, mother and grandmother with a great sense of humour and generosity towards all. She will always remain in our hearts and thoughts. Prayers will be held on Monday, January 26 at 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Divine Liturgy will be celebrated on Tuesday, January 27 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Vladimir and Olga Ukrainian Catholic Cathedral, 115 McGregor St. Interment to follow in All Saints Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Anastasias memory to St. Vladimir and Olga Cathedral. VICHNAYA PAMYAT CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
