ANA ALVEAR (BUSTOS)
Date of Passing: Jan 18, 2004
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryANA ALVEAR (BUSTOS) and RODRIGO BUSTOS The angels among us ... Suddenly on Sunday, January 18, 2004, Ana Alvear (Bustos) and her son Rodrigo Bustos were sadly taken from us during a vehicle accident in Chile. "That day we had to leave you, when our life on earth was through God picked us up and hugged us and said "I welcome you" Ana (mother, grandmother), "Rorro" (brother, father) will be dearly missed by Carlos (Peggy), Alex (Rosa), Anita, Leonardo, Yoko, Nao and Leo. Their legacy will continue to endure with their beloved nieces, nephews; grandchildren, Andre, Nicolas, Michael, Marco, Melissa and with their extended family and friends around the world. "God gave us a list of things, that he wished for us to do And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you" Ana never attempted to live her life backwards, yet some may think so - at the age of 63 she learned to ride a bike, swim, and above all, she learned to dance. Ana truly embraced the gift of life with a glowing smile and open arms that touched each and every one of us. Her motto: Learn to love yourself. Ana always demonstrated that you must first be who you really are, then do what you need to do, in order to have what you really want. Anas journey to this higher potential began with her training as nurse over 40 years ago and which blossomed into a passion for Healing Touch, meditation and spiritual enlightenment. "It was always my philosophy, and Id like it for you too That as you give unto the world, the world will give to you" Like Ana, "Rorro," her son, displayed an unforgettable love for his family and friends. But his spirit came to life around the children, specifically his sons Leo and Nao and his niece and nephews whom he adored. "Rorro" had a heart of gold, gift of laughter and a willingness to entertain under any circumstance. His family knows that he is now in heaven showing God his card tricks and harassing the great ones for tips on their magic. "Rorros" respect for mother-nature, his gentle soul, and trademark smile will forever live in the memories of us all. "And now I am contented... that my life was all worthwhile Knowing as I passed along, I made somebody smile" Funeral services will take place February 1 in Chile. A celebration of their lives will follow in Winnipeg, date to be announced. Memorial donations may be made to The Sanctuary, 610 Rue Lafleche, Winnipeg, MB R2J 0E1, (231-3499). "When youre walking down the street, and youve got us on your mind Know that we are walking in your footsteps, only half a step behind"
