LINDA ANDERSON nee MADISON On January 23, 2004, with family at her side, Linda lost her courageous battle with cancer. In typical fashion, she fought until the very end. Linda loved music and movies. She was always talking about the most recent addition to her collection. Linda was very thoughtful of others and so very proud of the accomplishments of her nieces and nephews. Linda was a long time employee of MGEU. She was predeceased by her father, Jack and is survived by her mother Connie, brothers Bruce (Elaine), John (Sandra), Ken and sister Darlene (David) and eight nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and clergy of the St. Boniface Palliative Care Unit. Their ever-present care and understanding was very special. Also the thoughts of her co-workers meant a tremendous amount to Linda and her family. In accordance with her wishes, Linda has been cremated and there will be no service. In lieu of flowers, any donations may be made in Lindas memory to the Palliative Care Ward of St. Boniface Hospital and/or to CancerCare Manitoba, P.O. Box 2248, Stn Main, Winnipeg, MB R3C 9Z9.
