Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryVIOLET AGNES PEARN nee DEWRANCE Violet Agnes Pearn nee Dewrance was born in London England August 26,1918; passed away January 17, 2004. Predeceased by brothers, Douglas, James and Arthur; first (Harry Lowen) and second (Bill Pearn) husbands and two sons, Gary and Derek Lowen. Survived by sons, Dennis (Heliana) and Brian Lowen and grandchildren, Melanie Thorpe, Jason Stewart and Jonathan Lowen in Manitoba and Shea Lowen in Victoria. Violet was a phone operator in London during the Second World War where she met Harry who was serving with the Canadian Forces. Violet emigrated to Canada in 1945, lived in Winnipeg raising four boys and working at the Health Sciences Centre as an operator. She was a beloved member of the British Wives Club for over 30 years. She moved to Victoria in 1984 and enjoyed retirement in the Beacon Hill Park area. She endured many trials and tragedies but always inspired others with her dignity. A Memorial Gathering will take place at 4030 Zinnia Road, Victoria at 3:30 PM Saturday January 31. SANDS OF VICTORIA "A Tradition of Trust" 1-250-388-5155
