LOVIE MATILDA PALAHNUK (nee KRUSHKOWSKY) Peacefully, on Sunday, January 25, 2004 at Bethania Personal Care Home, Lovie Palahnuk, passed away at the age of 69 years. Lovie was predeceased by her husband John in February 2000; and two brothers, Bob and Ernie. Lovie will be sadly missed by her three sons, John Jr., Frank (Rose), and Gary (Joyce) four grandsons, Jake, Nick, William and David; three sisters, Janice Sirman, Audrey Grant, and Bernice (Walter) Plesh, and many other extended family members. Lovies family life with her husband and three sons was her biggest enjoyment in life. She especially enjoyed the family fishing and camping trips. She had many hobbies that included crafts, crocheting, needlepoint, and gardening. She took great pride in spending time with her grandchildren and cooking for her family. Special thank you to the staff of Bethania Personal Care Home for their exceptional care and kindness. Memorial service will be held on Wednesday, January 28 at 3:00 p.m. at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main St. A family interment will take place at a later date in Thunder Bay, ON. In lieu of flowers if friends so desire, donations in Lovies memory may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba, 10-120 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 4G2.
