Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHERMAN RICHARD HARVEY BRUCE It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Herman Bruce, with his children by his side on Friday, January 23, 2004 at the Boyne Lodge in Carman. Herman was predeceased by his wife Ursula. He is survived by two daughters, Lona (Stan) Klassen and Leta (Ken) Wilson; one son Rob (Dorothe) Bruce; six grandchildren, Rex (Myrna) Klassen, Trevor (Kathryn) Klassen, Angela (Jarrett) Hayward, Melissa Bernert (Matt), Tom Klassen, Lindsay Bernert; and six great-grandchildren, Mark, Eric, Jeff Klassen, Mason, Ross Hayward, and Blake Bernert. Herman is also survived by two brothers, Mel (Lil) Bruce and Ed (Sybil) Bruce; one sister Grace Sutton, and numerous nieces and nephews. Besides his loving wife Ursula, Herman was predeceased by his sister May Devore, brothers-in-law, Ken Sutton and Elmer Devore; sister-in-law Irene Bruce; and one son-in-law Henry Bernert. Funeral service will be held from Doyles Funeral Chapel in Carman on Wednesday, January 28 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Brad Elliott officiating. Interment will take place in the Greenwood Cemetery, Carman. Memorial donations may be made to the Boyne Lodge, Box 1644, Carman, MB R0G 0J0.
