Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDORI MAGNUSSON Forever a gentleman who never gave up. January 24, 1931 - January 24, 2004. With his family by his side until his final moment, Dori courageously battled cancer for as long as he could. Dori was predeceased by his mom, dad, and brother Billy, and is survived in the loving hearts of his wife Susan; his three daughters, Doriane (John), Lori (Michal), and Wendy; his grandchildren, Katie, Victoria, Jack, Tiger, Dori, Shane, Marlie, and his little buddy Blaze; his sister Betty (Laugi) nephews, Dennis (Glenda), Kris (Jo-anne), and Jeffrey; nieces, Eleanor (Walter) and Kathy. Dori lived all of his life in Gimli and in his younger years was an avid curler who loved dancing and playing harmonicas. Anyone who affectionately knew him called him Afi. Doris all time passion was to spend time having fun with his family and friends. He loved spending endless hours visiting his wife at the Betel and long drives with his dog Scotty. Godspeed Afi, well always remember you and your guidance. As per his wishes, a cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held at the Gimli Lutheran Church on Friday, January 30 at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor George Johnson officiating. Memorial donations may be made in Doris name to the Gimli Animal Shelter. Gilbart Funeral Home, Gimli in care of arrangements.
