WILLIAM (BILL) PATRICK FIZTMAURICE 1923 - 2004 After a short battle with cancer, Bill passed away peacefully at Riverview Hospital on January 16 at the age of 80. Bill was born in Hurket, ON. Bill was predeceased by his brothers, Lloyd and Leo and his sister Marie. He is survived by his brother Tom and sisters, Anabelle, Betty and Blanche, as well as a number of nieces and nephews, he was a grand uncle. Bill enrolled in the army at an early age and served overseas in the Second World War. He later worked for The Manitoba Pool Elevators for many years until he retired. Special thanks to Muhla of Riverview for being with Bill and giving him his last dance. A favourite song of his was "Chiquitita". Here is a quote from the song which seems fitting: "How the heartaches come and they go and the scars theyre leaving Youll be dancing once again and the pain will end You will have no time for grieving." Bill was a great friend to all that knew him. He left a huge impression on everyone in which he crossed paths. Walk ahead of me, I will not follow. Walk behind me, I will not lead. Just walk beside me and be my Friend. Cremation has taken place and to respect Bills wishes there will be no service.
