Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryARNOLD "ART" HERMAN HUFF February 10, 1917 - January 26, 2004 Peacefully at Riverview Health Centre with his family by his side, Arnold Huff passed away. He was predeceased by his beloved wife of 52 years, Edna; his parents, Henry and Mary Huff; brother George; and brother-in-law Jim Irwin. Left to cherish his memory are his daughter Bonnie Fontaine (Marc) grandchildren, Trent, Mathieu (Leanne), Leighton and Anna; special great-grandson Riel. He will also be greatly missed by his brothers, William (Mildred) and Walter (Anne) sisters, Mabel Nikkel (Eric) and Mina Rae (Dennis) sister-in-law Joy, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Arnold lived in the Morris, MB area until enlisting with the P.P.C.L.I. in 1939. He served overseas in England, Sicily and Italy before being honourably discharged in 1945. He worked for the Department of National Defence, C.F.B. Winnipeg for 28 years until retiring in 1981. Dad was most proud of his sacrifice and service in the Second World War, ensuring a better future for his grandchildren of whom he expected great things. He was a pillar of strength showing unwavering love and devotion to Mom until her passing away in 2002. He will be missed. Cremation has taken place.
