Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARY PENNER 1906 - 2004 After a long and blessed life and trusting in her Lord, Mary Penner passed away peacefully January 24, 2004 at Boundary Trails Health Centre, East of Morden, MB. She was born November 30, 1906 to Jacob and Anna (Wiens) Penner at Plum Coulee, MB. During her youth, she accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as her Saviour. She was baptized by Bishop David Schultz in 1929 and accepted into the membership of the Plum Coulee Bergthaler Church. She lived a long life, travelling and working in many places. She was loved by her many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Jacob and Anna Penner and by her sisters, Anna Dyck, Justina (in infancy), Justina Friesen and brothers, John, Jake, Ben and Henry Penner. She leaves to mourn her sister Helen Buhlin of Winkler and brothers, Peter of Transcona (Winnipeg), and Abe of the Bethania Nursing Home in Winnipeg and many nieces and nephews. She resided for many years at Bethel Place in Winnipeg and when she needed extra care, she moved to Salem Home in Winkler in February of 2003. Funeral services will be held at Wiebe Funeral Home, 121 8th Street, Winkler, MB on Wednesday, January 28 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Henry Neufeld officiating.
